Micellar
Water Comparison:
Garnier
Vs. L’Oreal
I’d heard lots about the Bioderma Micellar Water from watching YouTube videos. I always wanted to try it, and finally i used Garnier Micellar Water but in this post i will compare two Micellar Water Products between Garnier versus L'Oreal. :)
The first thing to note in my micellar water comparison
is that the ingredients in both the Garnier & L’Oreal version are very
similar.
Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Cleansing Water
(Pink top)
Aqua/Water, Hexylene Glycol, Glycerin, Disodium
Cocoamphodiacetate, Disodium EDTA, Poloxamer 184, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide.
L’Oreal Skin Perfecting Micellar Water
Aqua/Water, Hexylene Glycol, Glycerin, Poloxamer
184, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Disodium EDTA, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide.
The first three ingredients (the ones that make
up the largest amount of the product) are the same. As is the last ingredient.
The next three ingredients are the same, but come in a different order. So how
much difference does the order of the ingredients Disodium
Cocoamphodiacetate, Disodium EDTA & Poloxamer 184 make?
I don't know : D
In my micellar water comparison, I can definitely
make out a slight difference between the two liquids. This is going to sound
odd because they are water base, but they ‘feel’ a little different. The
L’Oreal feels like water, where as the Garnier feels a little softer.
When I use the L’Oreal Micellar Water in a pinch
to take off my eye makeup, it feel very wet. It gets in my eyes, leaving a very
mild stinging sensation. I didn’t experience this with the Garnier Micellar
Water. I’m not sure if this is the liquid causing this or whether the bottle
design allows more liquid out of the L’Oreal, causing my cotton pad to become
wetter than it needs to be.
I found the Garnier & L’Oreal micellar waters
did a great job of removing excess cleanser from my face & peping up my
skin. Neither of these options has fragrance to it, which is great! Since using
a micellar water as part of my regular routine, my skin is definitely in a
better condition than before. How did I survive without it?
If I had to choose between the two Micellar Water, I would choose Garnier Micellar water, due to a softer texture will not make my facial skin feel a bit hot when I use L'Oreal Micellar Water.
And also a more affordable price
Garnier Micellar Water only Rp. 31,000
L'Oreal Micellar Water about Rp. 129,000
thanks..... :)
